The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Party
Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, fiends, and dark forces growing in power within the city.
Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.
The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.
The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.
Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the team knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each character has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
- Kattigan has experience in the region and advises that it is a nasty location.
- The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their position as important members in House Halovar could help the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the family.
This means them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.
